Privacy Statement

SANYO DENKI (THAILAND) CO., LTD. (hereinafter "the Company") has established this personal information protection policy regarding the proper handling of personal information based on the Act on the Personal Information Protection in Thailand (hereinafter "Personal Information Protection Law").
1. Name of entity handling personal information

2．Compliance with relevant laws and guidelines

The Company complies with the Personal Information Protection Law and related laws and guidelines.
3．Purpose of Use

The Company intends to use personal information within the scope of the following purposes.

(1) Personal data of customers

  • 1. Processing of customer requests and fulfillment of contractual matters
  • 2. Contacting customers
  • 3.Confirmation of installation location of products and equipment
  • 4.Providing information about the group's exhibitions, seminars, products, and services
  • 5.Managing product and equipment maintenance history, and for proposing suitable services
  • 6.Gathering quality information, and feedback for development and manufacturing, etc.
4．Provision of Personal Information

(1) The Company shall not provide personal information held by the Company to third parties, except in the following cases:

  • 1.When there is consent from the individual
  • 2.When required by laws and regulations
  • 3.When it is necessary for the protection of human life, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned
  • 4.When delegating the handling of personal information within the scope of the purpose of use
  • 5.When providing personal information in connection with business succession due to mergers or other reasons
  • 6.n cases where it is necessary to cooperate with state agencies, local public entities, or individuals entrusted by the government to carry out affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and it is likely that there is a risk of hindering the execution of said affairs by obtaining the consent of the relevant person

(2) The Company may share personal information with its Group Companies within the scope of the Purpose of Use. In such cases, the Company shall take responsibility for the management of personal information.
5．Matters concerning safety management measures

The Company shall take appropriate safety control measures for the management of personal information, such as prevention of leakage, loss, or damage. We shall also conduct appropriate supervision of employees and contractors who handle personal information.
6．Regarding personal information disclosure, correction, suspension, deletion, or issuance of notification of Purpose of Use (hereinafter “disclosure, etc.”)

(1) The Company confirms that individuals have the right to request disclosure, etc., for their own personal information, and shall respond to such requests promptly and without objection. Provided, however, that this disclosure shall not apply in cases which fall under any of the following reasons.

1.I When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights of the person or third party

2.When there is a risk of a significant obstacle to the proper execution of the Company's business.

3.When it violates other laws and regulations

(2) To prevent the leakage of personal information and the rewriting of personal information by other persons, we shall confirm that the requester of disclosure, etc., as described in the preceding paragraph, is the person in question. We shall disclose personal information only after confirmation is received.
